    Public Rights to Service

    Public Service Rights Act the Maharashtra Public Service Rights Act, 2015 has been passed to provide the notified services to the citizens of the state of Maharashtra through the Government and all public authorities under the Government in a transparent, dynamic and prescribed time frame. Effective from 28.04.2015. Its aim is to provide easy and timely services to the citizens. Maharashtra State Service Right Commission has been formed under the above Act to monitor, coordinate, control whether the notified services are being provided to the citizens or not and to suggest improvements in this regard and there is a Chief Commissioner and six Commissioners working in the Commission. The headquarters of the Commission is at New Administrate Bhavan, Opposite Mantralaya, Mumbai and there are offices of commissioners at six divisional headquarters. If the eligible citizens do not get the service within the prescribed time or if it is denied without proper reason, the concerned can make first and second appeal to the superiors against such decision and if still not satisfied then the third appeal can be made to the commission. Counter-case to the delinquent officer Rs. 5000/- can be fined. The list of notified services provided through this department is given in the attached form.

    Aaple Sarkar Services

    You can avail various services offered by the state government in a transparent, efficient and time bound manner. Initially you have to create your profile on the portal, ‘Aaple Sarkar’ which means, ‘your government’. Once you create your profile, you can log in to your account and see over 200 services.
