Navegaon National Park

It is located 65 km away from Gondia in Ajurni Morgaon taluka in the south of Gondia district. There is a bus as well as rail facility to reach here. For this, the nearest railway station is Deulgaon which is on the Gondia-Chandrapur route. It is 150 km from Nagpur. There is a dam here and it is popular for boating. There is a forest type 5A/C3 and Yathikani National Reserve with 209 species of birds, 9 Different types of reptiles, 26 species of carnivores live here. Mainly tiger, cheetah, wild cat, deer, jackal, wolf etc. There are hostels and lodges, hotels etc. to stay here and there is a zoological museum and a library.
