General Administration Department

The Head of the General Administration Department is a Class 1 officer of the State Government with the designation of Deputy Chief Executive Officer (General Administration). Matters related to establishment of class 3 and 4 employee under general administration department such as recruitment, promotion, transfer, retirement, tenure promotion, inter district transfer cases, leave cases, seniority list, judicial cases, democracy day, Lokayukta cases, right to information.

The general meeting of the Zilla Parishad and the meeting of the standing committee etc. are handled and also the work of coordinating all the departments of the Zilla Parishad’s done through the General Administration Department.
